The Dually Grommet is what cabinet makers have been asking for. It is a dual-sided interference locking grommet that finishes both sides of your hole. Works with depths from 3/4” to 2 1/2”. Good idea, might need some instructions on how to cut and prep for success
So the idea of a multi-size grommet is great. And they work in that context. However, while the grommet's parts connect before they are cut, after they are cut, the way the parts connect is not a given, and I've found that even with a bit more removed, I'm not getting a clean seal where the end piece fully seats. This really needs some instructions on how to properly cut and prepare the grommet to then actually do the close fit it is expected to provide. I've used both the White and Black colors.
Label is on outer rim of finished side??
I purchased a couple of the maple grommets. They look like they should be a nice easy install. But, the Fastcap labeling is embossed on the outer ring of what would be the finished side! They were inexpensive and I have a couple of places in the shop where I will use them but I'm afraid they would look cheap in the kitchen or office.
